How can I finance the installation?
The cost of installing solar technology will be recovered through reduced electricity bills and extra income usually within six to eight years, but the initial expenses can sometimes be a barrier. However, with Green Deal, help may be at hand.
What is Green Deal?
This is simply a loan to meet some or all of the upfront costs of installing energy efficiency improvements. The repayments are made by the homeowner via their normal electricity bills.
To take advantage of this funding, an assessment is required of your home to identify those areas where energy savings can be made. From this survey, a personalised report detailing the estimated costs and benefits is delivered to the homeowner, so that they can choose the best approach.
Who can undertake an assessment?
As one of the UK’s largest providers of Green Deal assessments, the Snug Network is an accredited organisation of over 120 members, each providing local industry expertise. We currently deliver over 200 Green Deal assessments each week and provide all our customers with a back-to-basics service that they can trust.
